We are looking for a Customer Service Representative with experience in customer service and documentation handling to join our small, dynamic, and growing team, trading chemical products. The position is based at our office in Mulund West, Mumbai.

What you will do

As a Customer Service Representative – Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth order execution and documentation across domestic and international operations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to prepare and manage documentation for domestic and international sales and purchase orders

• Working closely with external partners such as CHAs, shipping lines, freight forwarders, agents, surveyors, tank owners, and logistics vendors for pre- and post-shipment documentation

• Managing local inventory and costing in our ERP system, in collaboration with the business team

• Creating GST invoices via the government portal

• Following up on Letters of Credit (LC) issuances and amendments

• Handling dispatch activities, including product samples, tankers/containers, and couriered documents

• Ensuring compliance with internal policies, rules, regulations, and applicable requirements across all stakeholders

Who we are looking for

You are customer-focused, structured, and comfortable handling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

We believe you have:

• 2–3 years of experience in sales and operations support, including documentation handling

• Experience with domestic and international order handling

• Strong ability to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines

• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently when needed

• Proficiency in MS Office tools and ERP system

• A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

• Comfort working virtually with global internal and external stakeholders

Education & additional assets

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field

• Ability to commute to and from our Mumbai office located in Mulund West

• Willingness to work Saturdays if required

Additionally, we believe the ideal candidate have knowledge of Hazmat, GHS, EPA or FDA regulations, experiences in operations from the bulk chemical industry and logistics.
