The intern is required to provide:
Forestry & Sourcing Support
• Assist in collecting and organizing forestry-related information from suppliers (forest location, species, harvesting plan, polygon data).
• Support reviewing the legality of raw materials (harvesting permits, forest certificates) under guidance.
• Help check forestry documentation according to the requirements of Japanese, EU, and other relevant certification standards.
• Compile basic data and track supplier compliance according to checklists.
• Assist the team in keeping up to date with forestry and legality regulations.
Documentation & Reporting
• Support maintaining the filing system: forest documentation, harvest permits, polygon data sets.
• Prepare basic data reports to support audits and clients.
Other projects include:
• EUDR/RED III requirements
• forestry-related data collection
We are looking for a final-year university student or recent graduate in Forestry, Forest Resource Management, Environmental Science, or related fields. Preferably from a recognized university and close to graduation, with a potential for conversion to permanent role.
