Senior Magnesium or Silicon Trader to CellMark Metals in Stockholm

To strengthen our global trading team and our Non-Ferrous Profit Center, we are looking for a new Magnesium or Silicon Trader, located in our Stockholm divisional Headquarter.

  Your Key Work Tasks

  • Develop new Mg or Si business for CellMark Metals worldwide in accordance with CellMark Metals Strategic and Business Development Plan
  • Establish, maintain and keep good professional relationships with suppliers and customers, visit them regularly, conclude contracts with them, ensure that the parties are provided with accurate information, respond promptly and professionally to relevant requests;
  • Work with a high degree of autonomy, follow the Company policies and regulations when making and confirming bids and offers and following up on inquiries;
  • Monitor credit limits and payments to suppliers/from customers and closely follow inventory positions. Take quick action in case of payment delays or other potential problems. Keep regular contact with the Business Developer and the Risk Management Committee;
  • Lead and coach the direct reporting Back Office staff. Promote their continuous development and training;
  • Regularly update the Profit Center Manager and other Profit Center Traders about market activities and similar developments, which may impact the Profit Center and the Division’s activity;

Your Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years work experience as Magnesium or Silicon Trader in a Metals Trading company
  • Established network of customers and suppliers in the relevant market
  • Deep knowledge of and experience from Metal markets including different metal pricing mechanisms and structures;
  • Excellent understanding of Incoterms 2010;
  • Excellent understanding of FOREX hedging procedure;
  • Familiar with business tools, such as QV, Excel, Word, etc
  • Advanced knowledge of the English language. French or Italian is an asset;
